Currently, Ms. Díaz’s practice is concentrated in Labor and Employment Law. She represents employers in different matters before the Puerto Rico Courts, and administrative proceedings before the PuertoRico Department of Labor, and other government agencies. Her practice includes wrongful termination, employment discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, workplace harassment, and other matters

Ms. Díaz Ortiz graduated Magna Cum Laude from the InterAmerican School of Law in 2021. While in law school she actively participated in various organizations such as Project Innocence, the National Association of Law Students, where she was vice-president, and the InterAmerican University Law Review. From 2020-2021, Ms. Díaz interned for the Immigration Law Offices of Attorney Julie Cruz Santana and the American Civil Liberties Union of Puerto Rico. Ms. Díaz Ortiz also worked as a teacher’s assistant to Prof. Pedro Cabán in Property Law and, as an assistant to the Dean Julio E. Fontanet for the Evidence Course.


After law school she worked as a Law Clerk for the Court of Appeals, where she worked with several Puerto Rico judges, Hon. Gloria Lebrón Nieves, Hon. Nery Adames Soto, Hon. Camille Rivera Pérez, Hon. Eileen Barresi Ramos and Hon. Sol de Borinquen Cintrón.


Prior to her law studies, Ms. Díaz obtained a Bachellor’s Degree on Foreign Languages and Translation from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese.
