During Law School, Ms. Wichrowski was a member of the Law Review and was Assistant to Professor Gerardo Bosques concentrated on Fiduciary statutes. She began her professional career as an Associate Attorney in a commercial and consumer debt firm, where she gained experience in General Civil Law and Commercial Law. Soon after being admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico Bar, she began to work in matters related to Corporate, Labor and Employment Law while in the industry of telecommunications, representing employers in administrative proceedings before the Puerto Rico Department of Labor. She worked in several mergers and acquisitions and transfers of business from a Labor and Employment Law perspective. Ms. Wichrowski’s practice is focused on Labor and Employment Law. Her practice includes counseling and litigation in diverse topics, including wage and hour laws, wrongful termination, employment discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, transfer of a going business, contracts and other employment related torts. She works in asset purchase processes, union campaigns, collective bargaining and provides legal counselling and gives seminars in all areas of labor and employment law. She represents employers before local and federal courts as well as in administrative proceedings before the Puerto Rico Antidiscrimination Unit, the Conciliation and Arbitration Bureau, and the Office of Mediation and Adjudication of the Puerto Rico Department of Labor, the National Labor Relations Board and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, among others. Ms. Wichrowski is also a PhD Candidate in History of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
